We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Overview* Reporting to the Lead Director of Accounting, Pharmacy Services (PS) Controllers Group, the Senior Manager, Accounting will oversee the financial operations and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. The Senior Manager, Accounting will help lead financial reporting and analysis, and develop a team that maintains the integrity of financial data, manages accounting processes, and ensures compliance with accounting principles and regulations. *What you will do* * Conducts in-depth financial analysis, identifies trends, and provides strategic insights to support decision-making. * Directs department on general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes. * Ensures compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. * Facilitates risk assessments and monitors control measures to safeguard financial integrity and mitigate risks. * Develops policies and procedures to streamline accounting processes, automate manual tasks, and enhance operational efficiency. * Collaborates with multiple departments to gather financial data, provide insights, and support strategic initiatives. * Analyzes the organization's cash flow, including forecasting and liquidity management. Coordinates with treasury and finance teams to optimize cash utilization and manage working capital. * Creates budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives. * Conducts performance evaluations, sets performance goals, provides guidance, and fosters a collaborative and high-performing team environment. *Minimum Qualifications* * 7+ years work experience in accounting or finance * Ability to work onsite 3 days a week out of any of the CVS Hubs *Preferred Qualifications * * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. * Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills * Adept at business intelligence * Adept at collaboration and teamwork * Health care and pharmaceutical related business and accounting experience is preferred. * Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills * Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills *Education* * Bachelor's degree OR Equivalent experience ( 4 Years) *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $75,400.00 - $174,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
