Alternate locations include, but are not limited to: Hartford, CT; Phoenix, AZ; New York City, NY; Atlanta, GA; Tampa, FL; Woonsocket, RI. The position will report to the Lead Director, Strategy & Product Management. As Sr. Manager, Competitive Intelligence, you will be a key player on the Strategy and Business Development team for Aetna's Individual & Family Plans (IFP). You will deeply understand Aetna's position relative to our competitors, handle various strategy projects to strengthen our competitive position, and find new business opportunities. Your strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally will be crucial in shaping Aetna's IFP competitive strategy and long-term plans. You will be responsible for building and managing tools and resources to effectively illustrate competitive dynamics in the Marketplace, as well as integrating insights from internal and external sources to form a holistic view of our members, markets, and competitors. In addition, you will be accountable for synthesizing and communicating insights throughout the organization, including leadership, that drive decision-making to execute against strategic business needs. *In this role, you will:* * Support competitive intelligence efforts, defining our competitive strategy and planning for different scenarios. * Construct a detailed point of view on each of our competitors, including their product offering, growth, market share, and anticipated actions. * Establish collaborative business partner relationships to align on competitive position. Provide input to product roadmaps and strategic plans to enhance our market standing. * Stay updated on industry trends and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the macroeconomic, regulatory, and market-specific competitive activity to inform and adapt our strategic initiatives. * Conduct research (qualitative and quantitative) and synthesize findings to clearly illustrate Aetna's market positioning, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats * Create robust assessments by leveraging third-party data sources, including but not limited to, NAIC statutory filings, insurance regulatory filings, and CMS data *Required Qualifications* * 4+ years of strong command of data analytics, reporting and data integration technologies preferably in competitive intelligence * Healthcare or health plan experience * 4+ years' experience in developing and implementing new business strategies * Strong presentation skills, experience in executive briefing and influencing power to engage wide variety of partners * Strong financial and analytical background * Proven track record for project and program management skills in highly matrixed environment * Business consulting experience *Preferred Qualifications* * 2+ year of ACA health plan experience * Advanced degree, such as MBA or MPH. Advanced proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), data visualizations, and data warehousing concepts. *Education* Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification. *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $67,900.00 - $190,700.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
