At CVS Health, we have an exciting opportunity within our Legal Department as a Senior Paralegal. As a Paralegal, you will be supporting attorneys and business teams in a variety of areas to include Product Development, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, pharmacy networks and government claims. You will work with attorneys and business partners on projects, including legal research, contract review and drafting, organization and management. The ideal candidate for this position has a good work ethic, exceptional organizational and communications skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.
- Performing basic legal research
- Build and maintain, or oversee maintenance of, client files.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial prescription benefit services (PBM) contracts with the Company payor clients.
- Information management, including updating files and electronic data in connection with projects;
- Assisting with communications and coordinating responses to inquiries from project partners;
- General research, contract administrative management and other related work as may be assigned.
4+ years of legal experience
7+ years experience researching regulatory requirements
- Paralegal certificate
- Previous experience in legal, compliance, insurance, pharmaceutical industry, health care regulations
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required. Paralegal degrees highly desired
