EST or CST hours** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead ServiceNow Integrations Engineer to join our team to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing integrations between ServiceNow and various enterprise systems and applications. This position will drive integration projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless data exchange functionality to optimize business processes and enhance overall efficiency across multiple modules. Liaising with technology teams, process owners and counterparts to define, execute and manage application sustainment, enhancement, and/or new development. Reporting to the Lead IT Director, Platform Engineering, this position is critical in supporting the development and implementation of the overall ServiceNow platform. This role will also have cross functional collaboration with other areas of ServiceNow Platform, including but not limited to being the first point of contact for defect management, and new enhancements development. *Primary Duties and Responsibilities:* - Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex integrations between ServiceNow and external systems, applications, and data sources. - Discuss and pre-groom all stories and business requirements with Business, product owners, business analysts, and process owners and provide detailed technical inputs so that proposed solutions, product capabilities and constraints are well understood before requirements and demands are formally accepted. - Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand integration requirements, define integration strategies, and architect scalable and sustainable solutions. - Design and configure integration workflows, mappings, transformations, and data synchronization processes using ServiceNow Integration Hub, MID Server, and other integration technologies. - Create detailed technical designs for integrations, outlining data mapping, protocols, and workflows, ensuring compatibility and efficiency. - Develop and maintain custom integration solutions using web services, RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and other integration methods, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to integration engineers and developers, overseeing project execution, code reviews, and quality assurance activities. - Write/create custom business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACL's, data policies, UI scripts. - Align with platform architects and IT Security experts to ensure integrations meets all relevant compliance and security standards. - Provide support to critical issues and work with support teams in recommending resolutions to avoid any business impact. - Work with testing teams in ensuring that solutions developed are well understood by the testing teams and thoroughly tested before being deployed in global instances. - Performance Monitoring and Issue Resolution: Continuously monitor performance, proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure the reliability and availability of services. - Ensuring the technical aspects of future releases or upgrade implementations are in line with security, best practices, and meet the expectations of our business. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution. - Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and ServiceNow platform updates related to integration capabilities, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance integration efficiency and effectiveness. - Document integration designs, configurations, and processes, and provide training and support to end-users and technical stakeholders as needed. *Required Skills:* - 5+ years of hands on experience in delivering ServiceNow tools and processes, including integrations and standard platform development. - 5+ years of expertise in ServiceNow integration technologies, including Integration Hub, MID Server, web services, RESTful APIs, and SOAP APIs. - 5 + years of experience in JavaScript, XML, JSON, and other programming languages and data formats used in integration development. *Preferred Skills:* - ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Experience with cloud platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Familiarity with enterprise systems and applications commonly integrated with ServiceNow, such as CRM systems, ERP systems, and IT monitoring tools. - Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data modeling principles, and security protocols. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices, particularly within the context of ServiceNow implementation and integration. - Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Git, Jenkins, and Ansible, for automating integration deployment and testing processes. - Experience designing and developing integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (Workday, IAM, Azure, Salesforce), including use of ServiceNow's Integration Hub, and/or custom APIs. - Expertise in available ServiceNow APIs and a good understanding of various API architectural styles, including REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Webhook, WebSocket, file-based integrations etc. - Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, Jelly, HTML, JSON, CSS, AngularJS, Jelly, Ajax, jQuery. - Experience in UI Scripting, UI Action UI Policy, UI Macro, Business Rules, Workflow development, client-side/server-side scripts. - Experience with ServiceNow development tools such as workflow, flow designer, business rules, scripts, and Access Control List (ACL) rules. - Server-side scripts utilizing the most efficient GlideRecord methods to reduce overall processing time. - Strong knowledge and ability of Server Administration across OS platforms, including the understanding of described domain structures, user permission levels, group policy objects and the execution of SUDO policies. - Domain Separation and designing the Process and data flow within various domains. - Design and modify ServiceNow forms, workflows, scripts, transform maps, service maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs and more. - Hands-on MID-server configuration experience and architecture understanding. - Experience working in a SAFe/Agile team. - Service Mapping, Event Management & Cloud Management will be a plus. *Education:* -
