This role typically involves ensuring the platform is utilized in a way that aligns with organizational policies, industry regulations, and best practices. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the platform is used effectively and securely, while also maintaining compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. This role requires experience in the demand and project management disciplines and an understanding of ServiceNow capabilities. The Lead Governance Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and drive initiatives to streamline processes, enhance user experiences, and achieve business objectives. Excellent communication skills are required to extract business problems from key business and technology leaders to be translated into innovative technology solutions. This position is responsible for engaging with executive management and other stakeholders, to ensure the ServiceNow platform aligns with business objectives leading practices and ServiceNow guidelines. *Primary Duties and Responsibilities:* *Governance Oversight:  *Develop and implement governance frameworks and policies for the ServiceNow platform. Serve as the architect of the ServiceNow demand management process and process owner. Monitor and enforce compliance with established governance standards. Conduct regular audits to assess platform usage and adherence to governance policies. *Compliance & Risk Management:  *Stay up to date with industry regulations and standards relevant to the ServiceNow platform.  Ensure the platform remains in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any compliance-related issues.  Identify potential risks associated with ServiceNow platform usage and develop mitigation strategies. Work with IT security teams to ensure the platform is protected against security threats and vulnerabilities. *Process Optimization*: Continuously assess and improve processes related to ServiceNow governance and compliance. Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of platform usage. *Stakeholder Collaboration:  *Work closely with IT teams, business units, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. Provide guidance and recommendations to ensure the platform meets organizational objectives while maintaining compliance. Develop and deliver training programs for employees to promote awareness of governance and compliance requirements. Provide guidance and support to teams to ensure they are using the platform in accordance with established policies. *Team Leadership and Mentoring: *Provide guidance and leadership to the ServiceNow Governance team. This involves mentoring and supporting junior team members, assigning tasks, and ensuring projects are on track. Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team. Provide strong leadership to a team of professionals, setting clear goals, providing guidance, and facilitating professional development to ensure a high-performing and motivated team. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the teams productivity and professional development. Allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and deliverables. *Required Skills:* * 3 years experience in leading an enterprise service management function with a heavy focus in ServiceNow. * 10+ years' experience working within project frameworks. *Preferred Skills:* * Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. * Solid understanding of ITIL practices, incident management, and problem resolution. * Experience with managing Demand management processes and functions. * Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to data security and compliance. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. * Proven track record in driving operational efficiency and process improvements. * Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. * Experience with agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD). * Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business. * Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges. * Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills. * Collaborate with team members in a virtual setting. *Education-* Bachelor degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience(HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience) *BUSINESS OVERVIEW* Bring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
