Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Digital Architect to design and develop software applications, platforms and architecture. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop elegant code, state-of-the-art, responsive, industry-leading digital customer experiences and technical solutions that meet complex business requirements; drive broad solution initiatives across multiple Digital applications in pursuit of a unified customer-facing experience and provide guidance on implementation of reference architecture solutions; lead technical architecture initiatives for one or more value streams, Agile Release Trains, or platforms, and collaborate with multiple Agile value stream execution teams to drive large solutions across multiple applications and planning cycles; work with cross-functional teams to design the application data-flow and extensible product platform architecture with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) oversight and development support on future application updates and maintenance; utilize expertise with software architectures, Micro Frontend/Microservice architecture, cloud technologies, enterprise applications, micro-services, data analytics, networking, data storage systems, APIs, and large-scale systems; document and define non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, availability and fail-over, scalability, security, etc.), and work with stakeholders to ensure delivery of software products that meet business objectives; ensure secure handling of PHI, PII, and Healthcare information and that Architectural solutions account for threat vectors; plan for technology integrations and lead the building of Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate technical hypothesis and provide reference architectural solutions; support applications, architectures, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and analyze current architecture and develop opportunities for improvements in alignment with software development best practices. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Media, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Frameworks: Angular, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; Selenium, Jasmine, Cucumber, Mocha, Chai, Karma, Artillery, or Sitespeed; Splunk, DynaTrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Mpulse, Foglight, Full Story, Quantum Metrics, Kibana, Kiali, Jaeger Tracing, or Prometheus; Software development for enterprise or web applications; Writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code; Testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; and Data analysis for health care industry, products, or systems. Pay Range: $168000.00/year to $240000.00/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
