We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Position Summary* As a Supervisor for the CVS Health MinuteClinic Billing Department, you will be responsible for providing leadership for assigned billing team and related functions. You will oversee a team of billing coordinators that are responsible for various functions including working and resolving Epic claim work queues, managing payment batches and related postings, manage and resolve issues causing unpostables, managing and validating patient refunds, and creating ad hoc monthly reports. Manage a high volume of medical claim corrections via various Epic work queues (i.e. provider appeals and/or self-pay holds) to ensure clean claim submissions to the practice management system and our contracted health plans. Assist with the management of accurate and timely front-end processing of claims within payer guidelines. Possess the ability to influence and support your team by setting applicable priorities and holding the team accountable for desired outcomes. You will be expected to assess skill level and execution of team members by following up with training assistance where gaps are identified. Enhance and utilize ad-hoc metric review to provide consistent measurement and feedback of departmental expectations, success and areas of concern. Lastly, the supervisor will be responsible for identifying and quantifying trends/issues and then effectively communicating/reporting them to the appropriate members of the management team along with any potential impact. *Additional responsibilities of the Billing Supervisor include:* - Oversee day-to-day operations of teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of all Billing Coordinator activities  - Assist Senior Manager with meetings with internal departments as well as external clients, vendors, and processors to clearly relay, resolve, or influence situational occurrences - Maintain productivity and quality standards of all Billing Coordinator functions  - Suggest and implement changes to department policies and procedures as appropriate  - Work with management to complete disciplinary action as required  - Complete annual performance reviews for employees and provide timely feedback  - Create a work environment for employees through team building, coaching, constructive feedback, work delegation, personal example and goal setting that encourages creativity, open dialogue on work issues, professional growth, and a consistent, high level of performance; encourage and support employee decision-making within his or her scope of responsibilities  - Develop and maintain capabilities in technology applications and all other related information systems, tools, technologies, and processes; assist other employees as needed to ensure all tools are fully utilized to create an efficient and effective department  - Comply with and adhere to all regulatory compliance areas, policies and procedures (including HIPAA and PCI compliance requirements), and "leading practices" - Liaise appropriately with peers across the organization; work with AR, Payer Integrity, Clinical Revenue Cycle, Accounting department, and Analytics department to communicate trends and suggest process improvements to revenue cycle Keywords: billing, cash posting, revenue cycle, finance, accounting, supervisor, management, leadership, collections, healthcare, medical, insurance *Required Qualifications* - 5+ years of Revenue Cycle or similar Accounts Receivable experience, preferably within billing/collections - 1+ years of experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel - Experience with Athena/Epic or comparable EMR *Preferred Qualifications* - 2+ years of supervisory experience in healthcare reimbursement or medical insurance/billing - Clear understanding of how Collections and Billing impacts Revenue Cycle operations and financial performance  - Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association, or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred  - Experience in managing projects involving the collaboration, motivation and cooperation of a wide variety of people with whom there is no direct reporting relationship    - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and to effectively anticipate and respond to issues as needed in a dynamic work environment  - Dedication to treating both internal and external constituents as clients and customers, maintaining a flexible customer service approach and orientation that emphasizes service satisfaction and quality *Education* Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.
