Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vermont, a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our imaging department. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively. The position is full-time, salaried, with no call, night, weekend or holiday responsibilities.

• 2 or more years of Advanced Practice procedural experience preferred, although highly motivated new graduates with relevant experience will be considered

• Pre- and post-procedural care
• Paracentesis, thoracentesis, catheter placement, fluoroscopy and central lines
• History and physical exams
• Ordering of laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Obtaining consent and providing education to patients regarding plan of care

• Successful completion of an approved NP program
• Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Vermont
