ADULT General & Vascular Thoracic Unit

Full Time, 3x12 hour shifts, Rotation

We are offering a $15,000 Sign-On Incentive (prorated for part-time schedules) paid in 2 installments!

A fast-paced, 32-bed medical surgical unit. We specialize in vascular, thoracic, general and kidney transplant surgery. We are a great place to learn and experience caring for variety of surgical specialties. We also have 3 step-down unit beds that focus on patients needing an increased nursing assessment and intervention.

Home to thoracic, vascular, kidney transplant and general surgery patients (typically either laparoscopic or major abdominal procedures), the population is diverse and challenging. Our nurse-to-patient ratios are very attractive and Licensed Nursing Assistants are also part of our collaborative team.

Responsibilities

As a member of the team you will assess, plan, organize, provide and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process. In addition, you will make nursing judgments and decisions and will be responsible for nursing care and documentation. We use a shared (team/self) scheduling model to coordinate schedules which include 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience.
• Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses with 2 years' experience..

Required Licensure/Certifications

- Licensed Registered Nurse with New Hampshire eligibility. - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire and as applicable, higher level per unit certification requirements as stated on the grid attached to the AHA and Life Support Policy - ACLS Certificate required upon hire in Endoscopy, Tele-ICU, Day Surgery Center at CGP (Manchester), Life Safety and Cardiology-Echocardiography
