The Highlights: Reporting to the Associate Director of the Transfer Articulation Center (TRAC), the Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day review of transfer applications, the matriculation and posting of new student transfer credit, as well as supplemental transfer credit, AP, CLEP, IB, A and AS Level exam credit. In addition, the Coordinator will assist in automating the Articulation process. The responsibilities of this position will also include researching and testing new technological solutions to advance the work of the Transfer Articulation Center to best serve our students.


What You'll Do:

  • Review applications for admission of adult and transfer populations. 
  • Evaluate transfer credits of new applicants to determine degree applicability and course equivalencies that are then posted to the student's record. 
  • Provide posting of supplemental transcripts, test scores (such as: AP, IB, and CLEP) as well as graduate and professional transfer courses. 
  • Working with various representatives throughout the university community to help ensure that credit is received, articulated, and posted in a consistent and timely manner. 
  • Assisting as needed with articulation review and transcript detailing.
  • Based on the needs of the department, supervision of a student worker or intern may be required.
     

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree is desirable. 
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Student Information Systems is strongly preferred. 
  • Experience with Transfer Evaluation System (TES) and Slate is preferred. 
  • Minimum two years experience working with transfer student records and articulation procedures.
  • Must demonstrates strong planning, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently is imperative; team player with creativity, patience and perseverance.
  • Must be able to interact with administrative staff, college offices and academic advising units.
  • External-must be able to interact with educational institutions and consultants.
  • Experience in completing application review, transfer student credit review, and course placement is preferred.
  • Experience using a SIS (preferably PeopleSoft) and CRM (preferable Slate).
  • Occasional overtime and/or weekend work required.
