Discovery Senior Living is looking for an Assistant Executive Director to join our community Discovery Village at Boynton Beach

The Assistant Executive Director is responsible for supporting the Executive Director with the overall leadership, management and success of the community and will focus efforts on Human Resource related duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance and Regulatory compliance
  • Ensures outstanding Resident and Team Member engagement and participates in resolving issues and concerns
  • Responsible for timely and effective recruiting, onboarding and orientation of new Team Members
  • Provides Human Resource policy guidance to both Team Members and leadership.  Ensures Human Resource related policies are consistently followed
  • Performs various administrative related tasks related to Human Resources
  • Collaborates with Executive Director relative to problem resolution and efficient operations of the community

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources or a Health related field.
  • Prior leadership experience (with the Assisted Living industry preferred).
  • Previous management experience including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations, supervision and discipline.
  • AL license a plus
