We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transport of residents to appointments. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles
- Transport company staff, clients, and goods to specified locations in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during vehicle operation.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to management.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Assist with loading and unloading, if applicable.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and staff.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle.
- Follow designated routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary due to traffic or other factors.
- Comply with company policies, including safety and security protocols.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver; previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional roadways.
- Ability to use GPS and route planning tools effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (if applicable).
- Ability to operate a vehicle for extended periods.
