Job Details:

General Summary:

Supports the Compliance activities for the Private Brand Development process on domestically purchased products. Oversees the collection, validation and recordkeeping for various documents and reports relating to the Domestic Compliance process. Engage with both internal partners (Private Brand Development Teams, Daymon our internal broker, and Global Sourcing) and external partners (Testing labs and manufacturers) to facilitate a smooth execution of the Dollar General Compliance processes.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Domestic Compliance Process
    • Oversees the collection, validation, and organization of critical documentation and reports, including MSAs, PLI, audits, product specifications, TAQA testing, and testing reports.
    • Update and approve documents in the Blueprint Private Brand development system.
    • Collaborate with the Packaging Compliance Manager as needed to ensure alignment with packaging standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Update the Domestic Compliance testing tracker and provide project status to internal teams as needed.
  • Participate in Private Brand Development Roadmap Meetings
  • Assist the Domestic Compliance Manager with completing Project Kick-Offs
  • Coordinate the collection on necessary documentation for the children's product category that is not part of the Roadmap process
  • Assist the Domestic Compliance Manager with the failure Corrective Action Process (CAP)
Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and effectively manage time to ensure the proper completion of tasks and achievement of deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to navigate third-party online management tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication to interact with teams, managers, and third parties.
  • Utilize excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects efficiently.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Ability to review and analyze documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Knowledge of federal and state product regulatory requirements and activity is preferred.

Work Experience &/or Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies, political science, public policy, finance, environmental science, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant coursework in ethics, compliance, risk management, government regulations, or business law is preferred.
