Job Details

Duties & Responsibilities:

HR System Management 

  • Identifies and delegates to direct and non-direct reports who are best positioned to complete project tasks.
  • Uses analysis to identify, prioritize, and implement system enhancements by collaborating with HR and IT teams to include new functionalities, review and tests new processes, updates, and workflows.
  • Identifies risks and opportunities; recommends and applies changes to processes which improve the delivery of HR services to the organization.
  • Installs, implements, modifies, and upgrades current functions of software and applications to meet changing business and technology needs.
  • Owner and subject matter expert for all HR employee service portal and case management administration responsibilities
  • User access management – Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts, ensuring appropriate access levels and permissions for HR staff and other authorized users.

Support and Training

  • Be available for critical system updates and issues outside of regular business hours if necessary.
  • Provide technical support to HR staff and end-users, addressing system-related inquiries and issues.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for HR staff on system usage.
  • Assist in user training and onboarding to promote effective utilization of the HR systems managed.
  • Provides risk assessments, and incident reviews and communicates to organizational leadership.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify other opportunities of integrations with HR systems, process optimization, assist with implementations and troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
  • Utilize change management to proactively prepare business for system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to HR technology.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, keeping abreast of updates, new features, and support options.

Security, Compliance

  • Implement and follow security best practices to protect sensitive HR data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Ensure that the HR platforms comply with all relevant data privacy and security regulations.
  • Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments.


Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical and technical audiences alike.
  • Demonstrated history of problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in identifying, analyzing, and solving business problems to improve work processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of cross-functional partners.
  • Thorough understanding of database design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Work Experience &/or Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or closely related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of HRIS administration experience.
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow or other Service Delivery Platform System Administrator.
  • Involvement in designing, developing, and configuring applications using HR Information Systems.
  • Certifications in ServiceNow systems administration are a plus.
