What's Under the Hood

DriveTime Family of Brands includes in-house financing and servicing through Bridgecrest, which is one of the country's leading financial servicing providers. Bridgecrest services roughly $17 billion in finance receivables for DriveTime and other third parties. That's Nice, But What's the Job?

The Risk Analyst II, Digital Lending role is responsible for helping to build best-in-class lending solutions that integrate third party products, dynamic customer flow decisioning logic, and risk segmentation strategies. You will use creative problem solving and analytical skills to design strategies that accomplish our organizational initiative of delivering a streamlined, automated origination process to all our customers. You will be a key player within the Lending organization and will have the opportunity to present strategic recommendations to Executive Leaders.

In long, our Risk Analyst II is responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and implementing business strategies to minimize risk while delivering a streamlined, automated car-buying process for our customers.

  • Partnering closely with colleagues throughout the business including Risk Management, Product Management, Marketing, Website, Retail, and Lending Operations to implement effective cross-functional solutions.

  • Constructing in-depth quantitative analysis by processing, manipulating, and studying large datasets.

  • Communicating analytical findings with colleagues and senior leaders using concise insights and visualizations to drive action.

  • Leveraging emerging technologies and critical thinking skills to continually innovate and automate existing methodologies, processes, and reporting.

The Specifics.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as economics, engineering, finance, statistics, or related hard science discipline

  • 2+ years of data analysis experience

  • Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL, and Tableau
