Englewood Health, an award-winning leader in Cardiac Care, is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join Englewood Health's Cardiology team. 
 
With a focus on various invasive procedures, including but not limited to TAVR, post-bypass surgery, coronary interventions, and arterial stent placement, you will work alongside two of our premiere physicians, providing exceptional cardiac care in the communities we serve. The ideal candidate supports the Invasive Cardiology team and creates an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by evaluating, planning and implementing effective plans of care and communicating with both patients and their families. The role supports other APNs in the Cardiac Cath Lab when needed. The APN/PA provides direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team for well-coordinated patient care. Department: Cardiac Department
Location: Englewood, NJ 
Shift: Days - 10 hour shifts
Hours: 6:30a / 7:00am start – 5:00pm 
On-Call: Once every 5th or 6th weekend mornings (Sat/Sun) 
 
Job Essentials:
A minimum of 1 year of APN/PA experience required
Proficiency with Electronic Health Record to document patient care (EPIC) a plus!

 

Education Requirements:
•    For PAs: Bachelor's Required, Master's Degree Preferred
•    For NPs: Master's Degree Required
 
License/Certification/Registry:
•    If Nurse Practitioner (APRN): Current NJ State Advanced Practice Nurse License, current BLS and ACLS, current CDS and DEA licenses
•    If Physician Assistant (PA): Current NJ PA license and certification by NCCPA, current BLS and ACLS, current CDS and DEA licenses
