Englewood Health is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Nurse Team Leader to ensure full clinical coverage through proper scheduling, training of new or junior team members, and establishing workflow of the group to maximize safety and quality of care.

 

About the Opportunity

 

  • Team Makeup: Two (2) Full-Time and Four (4) Per Diem Advanced Practice Nurses supporting multiple physicians
  • Schedule: Four (4) 10-hour days per week 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

What your day will look like

 

  • Manage the team schedule to ensure optimal day-to-day staffing coverage.
  • Interview and assist in selecting new team members for full-time, part-time, and per diem positions.
  • Educate new or junior members of the team to enhance their clinical skills and ensure proficiency in daily tasks.
  • Promote timely completion of administrative task across the group.
  • Establish and update internal workflows, policies, and procedures relevant to the team.
  • Routinely evaluate team performance to maximize patient safety and quality of care.
  • Demonstrates clinical expertise in area of specialty, role modeling application of clinical practice standards.
  • Identifies clinical problems in care of specialty and proposes solutions and/or a plan to address the issue.
  • Utilizes assessment techniques based on current research and knowledge.
  • Determines and prioritizes patient care needs. Diagnoses are determined and prioritized from the assessment data using appropriate complex clinical reasoning.
  • Performs or implements interventions and treatments with knowledge of health care research findings and reflecting a scientific basis and theory.
  • Selects and performs tests and therapeutic procedures for the patient as necessary, adhering to scope of practice guidelines and program area's curriculum.
  • Develops collaborative protocols with physicians as defined by the Nurse Practice Act.

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Current New Jersey Professional Nurse License
  • Current New Jersey Clinical Nurse Specialist /or Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • Masters Degree in Nursing, required
  • 3-5 years recent clinical experience in area of expertise
  • Previous leadership/teaching experience preferred
  • Certification in specialty required
  • Meets Medical Staff By-Law Requirements for Collaborative Protocols

Englewood Health offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, comprehensive benefits package, and other incentive programs for our employees. The rate shown reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position; actual pay will depend on several factors, including educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Minimum compensation: $150,000 per year
