Responsible for the maintenance of the Cancer Registry in accordance with the requirements of the New Jersey State Cancer Registry (NJSCR) and the standards of the American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer (ACoS/CoC).

Hours: 8am - 4pm

Job Essentials: Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR), Knowledge of medical terminology, pathology, anatomy and physiology, Knowledge of ICD-O (International Classification of Diseases - Oncology) coding, Working knowledge of ACoS/CoC Cancer Program guidelines, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Skilled user of Metriq and other various cancer registry/cancer program software systems, Skilled user of Microsoft Office programs and comfortable in using Windows based computer systems, Team player but able to work independently as needed

Education Requirements: HS Diploma or GED plus technical schooling

License/Certification/Registry: Certified Tumor Registrar Certification (CTR) REQUIRED
