Job Summary:

Chief of Radiation Oncology shall work with senior leadership to provide the administrative services, direction and supervision required for the proper operation of the Department and the Hospital including, but not limited to those duties of Hospital department chiefs set forth in the Hospital's Medical Staff Bylaws.

Job Essentials:

  • Previous Emergency Department administrative experience required.
  • Active member with all necessary clinical privileges on the EHMC medical staff, in full compliance with the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations.
  • Maintain skills through documented participation in accredited CME activities consistent with ACEP Guidelines
  • In compliance with all policies, standards, rules and regulations of employer.
  • In compliance with standards, rules and regulations of any insurer, health maintenance organization or other third-party payers that are accepted by Employer as contractual obligations from time to time.

 

Education Requirements:

  • M.D. Degree

 

License/Certification/Registry:

  • Licensed as per State requirements and medical staff bylaws Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
