Job Summary:

GENERAL SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Director of Supply Chain will run the day-to-day operations of Distribution (Receiving and Delivery and Distribution Depts).

 

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Ensures supply availability in Store Rooms and clinical supply rooms.  Troubleshoots product back orders and handles product recalls.
  • Monitors supply issuing, turns, stock on hand, value and expiration date and compares to KPIs.  Makes improvements as needed to meet performance standards.
  • Right sizes clinical areas inventory levels.
  • Assists the Manger in quality improvement efforts for Supply Chain Operations: Store Rooms and Distribution and Receiving departments.
  • Identifies inefficiencies, suggests its solutions, measures current to future state performances.
  • Reorganizes work service schedules and service frequencies. 
  • Helps develop a Quality Assurance program to meet KPI targets.
  • Works with IT to help launch and support technology optimizations as well as continuous enhancements. 
  • Cleanses and maintains Par Location information in ERP system.
  • Creates reports on projects at work and provides status updates.
  • Processes product returns.
  • Support the Manager by supervising the Receiving and Delivery department. 
  • Help update and/or create policies as well as standard operating procedures.
  • Works on other project as determined.
  • Able to work weekends as needed.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

 

  • Associates Degree (Supply Chain, Business or Finance Preferred).  Bachelors is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity leading Supply Chain Distribution. 
  • +3 years demonstrated of process improvement experience.
  • MS Office experience.  Advanced excel formula knowledge is a plus.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to lift up-to 25lbs.
  • Will use industrial powered vehicles and/or pallet jack.
  • Able to work weekends as needed.
  • Exposure to weather.
