approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.
This Systems Analyst will work as a part of a development services and support team to provide direct technical assistance to key business users and IT peers, and to deliver coded solutions for enhancements and new functionality for moderately complex custom developed system(s). The individual will have direct support responsibility for a subset of business users, including troublAnalyst, Systemse-shooting, analysis and problem resolution, solution design, participation in on-call rotation, as well as accountability for delivery of technical designs, technical development, testing, implementation and production support.
Responsibilities include:
- Works directly with business users and management team to understand requirements/issues/challenges and deliver high value development and support services.
- Develops, coordinates, and manages application production support and system enhancement efforts of existing and new applications in support of liquid products transportation.
- Responsible for facilitation and coordination of user acceptance testing, change management, issue management, problem escalation & resolution, cross team coordination, and overall application development and support.
- Performs system analysis for projects of major scope to provide a means for solving technical and business- related problems/challenges.
- Develops/documents application program logic and syntax from project design specifications or models.
- Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to meet their needs.
- Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle.
- Facilitate and coordinate end user acceptance testing, change management, issue management, problem escalation and resolution.
- Acquire and maintain system and business knowledge needed to support direct users and other internal technical teams.
Requirements
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- 5 years experience in Information Technology specific to application development and support.
- Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university, or 5 years of related industry experience or equivalent technical experience.
- Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Management Information Systems (MIS) degree is preferred.
- Experience and advanced skills in Microsoft .NET/C#, SQL Development are required.
- Experience and skills Angular and Xamarin are preferred.
- Experienced in the following tools/technologies: Visual Studio, and Microsoft SSRS are required.
