The Tax Analyst will be a member of the Company's motor fuels and excise tax team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and file tax returns for Federal and multiple state taxing jurisdictions.
  • Research and analyze Federal and state laws to determine taxability.
  • Reconcile or review assigned tax liability accounts.
  • Prepare Federal and state tax registrations.
  • Respond to tax inquiries from internal and external customers / agencies.
  • Update Tax configurations, review transactions in Right Angle.
  • Reconcile or review assigned tax liability accounts.
  • Prepare state and local tax registrations.



The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business is required.
  • 0 - 3 years of experience working in a transaction tax environment.
  • Self-motivated individual that must be able to work in a dynamic, team-based environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and research skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines while paying attention to details.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.). 
  • Experience with Microsoft Access is preferrable but not required.
  • Experience with IGEN indirect tax software is preferrable but not required.
