Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.
The Jr./Sr. Environmental Engineer or Scientist will be a team member within the Air Compliance and Emissions Reporting team responsible for emission inventory and GHG reporting for assigned midstream and petrochemical assets in multiple states. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ability to accurately prepare emission calculations using established methods for reporting to government agencies.
• Prepare and submit timely emissions reports (Emission Inventories, GHG Reports, etc.) to government agencies and respond to agency follow-up questions, as needed.
• Ability to use emissions management system database (Enablon preferred) to configure facilities in the environmental database for data entry and emission inventory and/or GHG reporting.
• Track and trend emissions data on a routine basis (monthly, semiannually, annually, etc.).
• Continuously review and improve data collection processes to ensure high-quality data is being obtained for emission calculations and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Field Environmental, Environmental Permitting, Operations, and IT) to ensure required operating and emissions data is obtained to support calculations and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that facilities are in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Requirements
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or science in related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required, preferably in industry or consulting. Job title would be commensurate with the relevant experience.
• Emission calculation experience is required.
• Experience with Enablon for environmental data management and reporting is preferred.
• Knowledge of emissions units at NGL and gas processing, crude and refined products storage and loading operations, and pipeline industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with preparation and submittal of Emission Inventory Reports to state agencies (i.e., TCEQ, LDEQ, NMED, etc.) is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• Candidate must have strong analytical skills and exhibit an attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels both internally and externally.
• Desire to collaborate and assist coworkers.
• Ability to prioritize and organize daily tasks in a demanding environment.
