Envision Physician Services is seeking an Ultrasound Director to join our core faculty team at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency Program.

The Department of Emergency Medicine is currently recruiting an Ultrasound Director to serve as core faculty to lead in the development and implementation of the curriculum, instructional methodologies and evaluation of ultrasound clinical and didactic education provided to residents. Qualified candidates must be BC/BP EM (ABEM/AOBEM) with completion of Ultrasound Fellowship. The right candidate will be provided support and protected time for their leadership role. Ocala Health is the primary clinical site for graduate medical education in Ocala, FL, sponsored in collaboration with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). Residencies programs in: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery and Internal Medicine. Each program is uniquely designed to train residents to their full potential to practice medicine.

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Completed a Medical Education and/or Simulation Fellowship and/or,
• Two years prior Core Faculty experience in an Emergency Medicine Residency

Responsibilities may include organizing and implementing the didactic & simulation curriculum, overseeing didactic evaluation, and managing resident education requirements. The residency leadership values modern adult learning techniques such as flipped classroom approaches, small group learning, gamification, and frequent simulation workshops.

The compensation package is very attractive and includes a generous stipend and protected time for academic duties, with protected time in addition to a competitive clinical rate. Benefits include 401K, medical, dental, disability, and CME allowance.

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is a 323-bed facility located in the heart of Ocala. We are also home to HCA Florida West Marion Hospital, a 222-bed hospital located in West Marion County and Freestanding ERs - HCA Florida Summerfield Emergency, HCA Florida Maricamp Emergency, HCA Florida Trailwinds Village Emergency, HCA Florida Foxwoods Emergency US 27 FSED, and HCA Florida Silver Springs Emergency. Our hospital system includes an Inpatient Rehabilitation Center, Wound Care Center and Imaging Center. With a Level II Trauma Center and the region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center, Ocala Hospital offers a host of quality and award-winning services. These include orthopedic, cardiovascular, emergency and neurological care, robotic and weight loss surgery and rehabilitation services.
