SUMMARY: Employee Benefits (EB) Carrier Marketing Consultants provide high-quality service to our producers and client service teams. They help to ensure client satisfaction through their relationships with our insurance carrier partners' sales representatives, which allow us to negotiate competitive proposals for client and prospect programs on which we advise. In this role, the Senior Carrier Marketing Consultant will support the marketing of new and renewal business across all EB product lines (medical, dental, vision, ancillary and voluntary). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following job duties:

  • Maintain a full understanding of all lines of Employee Benefits required for Marketing, including various funding strategies
  • Coordinate with client service teams, including producers, on existing client renewals to meet client benefit and strategy needs
  • Coordinate with producers to develop benefit and plan design strategies that match prospect needs
  • Maintain strong relationships with carrier sales representatives
  • Manage the RFP process in collaboration with client service teams, providing status updates as needed to support overall client service
  • Spreadsheet all competitive quotes and review all spreadsheets for accuracy in benefits and rates
  • Comply with all internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet service performance and quality standards
  • Maintain required documentation in ImageRight
  • Contribute to a team effort by assisting other Marketing Consultant(s) as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in the employee benefits brokerage/consulting industry
  • Strong computer skills including MS office suite, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent organization and time management skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • College degree in insurance or related field preferred
  • Insurance license preferred, or candidate will be required to obtain one within six months of date of hire
