Field marketing team is seeking a passionate, forward thinking, strategically minded marketer to join Epicor in ANZ. The Field Marketing Principal will execute the strategic field marketing initiatives and marketing programs to support the ANZ growth objectives. You will play a fundamental role in driving marketing success and managing a diverse range of integrated marketing programs and activities across the marketing mix. 


Reporting to the Asia Pacific Marketing Director, this role will work closely with Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing, Digital and Corporate Marketing. You will plan, prepare, execute, and measure ROI-oriented marketing activities and programs while working within the broader Epicor brand guidelines and corporate processes. 


What you will be doing:

  • Designs and implements marketing lead generation programs, tools, and guidelines to be used by the business development teams and direct and indirect sales team.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to develop electronic communications, web presence, events, thought leadership, sales support materials, social media, events, and other efforts that align with sales and business goals
  • Understands the buying life cycle from Top, Middle and Bottom of the funnel and manages prospect programs at all stages for ANZ demand-generation campaign execution.
  • Ensuring all activity is measured and reacts to success metrics. To perform actionable analysis, and to make demonstrable, data driven decisions to improve outcomes and ROI
  • Supports and manages and understands the principles of Account Based Marketing (ABM) 
  • Optimises digital demand-generation strategy in partnership with the digital team
  • Building and managing key relationships with association, media publications and directory vendors to maintain established connections to amplify in country activity.
  • Works closely with the local field marketing teams to leverage Epicor messaging
  • Works closely with marketing peers outside of region, finance, and other central teams globally to enable successful delivery of programs with ROI. 
  • Creates consistent communication with sales mid and senior level leadership to promote awareness of programs, provide activity updates, and solicit feedback, 
  • Responsible for sourcing content, with excellent writing skills, to publish as best suited in campaigns across channels, tactics, internally and externally in collaboration with 3rd party media publishers, industry associations and at times, influencers. 
  • Negotiate contracts and arrangements with outside vendors supplying services or materials in support of marketing programs and effective management of budget.
  • Manage dedicated budget according to company's processes and reporting requirements whilst keeping transparency of spend and forecasts and comply with strict financial discipline. 


What you will likely bring:

  • 3- 5 years B2B marketing experience, 2 years gained within a software or technology company. 
  • Hands on experience of working in a Field Marketing role  
  • Strong verbal and writing skills and a positive, high-energy, team-focused attitude are a must.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with internal teams, and external partners.
  • Experience and comfort designing and executing marketing lead generation campaigns and programs that drive engagement and grow repeat visitors, with a track record of end-to-end campaign execution and delivering results.
  • Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of marketing programs.
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment, an independent thinker, and a team player, adaptable and highly self-motivated.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation and project management skills in a complex global work environment, can-do attitude, and resourcefulness 
  • Working creatively and productively within the boundaries of a global corporate marketing framework, ability to adhere to processes set by corporate.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
  • Results orientated, along with strong sales and customer service mindset.
  • Industry experience across IT / Technology. Manufacturing knowledge an advantage.
  • Demonstrated passion and proven ability to learn technology quickly.

  • Strong project management skills
  • Works well in a highly matrixed organization of shared services marketing teams, field marketing teams and regional sales and product teams
  • Proven success building comprehensive marketing plans for a B2B software company. 
  • Understanding, knowledge and/or experience within manufacturing / distribution / aged care industry is highly desirable.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience (CRM and marketing automation tools)
  • Knowledge of nurture programs and customer journey campaigns 
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and efficient work style.
