About the role:
The Product Developer, Sr who can contribute also as a API Extensibility and Development engineer who will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and maintaining company products by participating in all phases of the development process. The Product Developer, Sr works with other areas of the business to provide recommendations and mentors other team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Writes, refactors, and tests new and existing applications/framework components.
*Work on public APIs and their extensibility like
-Ability to write a well defined and documented API from scratch
-Ensuring Well-defined interfaces
-Ensuring Abstraction of details of the API
-Ensuring usage Developer tools and proper documentation around the API
Adding functionality to existing API
-Modifying existing behavior
-Ensuring Compatibility with updates
*Actively participates in designing and reviewing core functionality.
*Designs and delivers formal or informal training, mentorship, and supports other developers.
*Develops, analyzes and maintains tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release.
*Looks to constantly improve coding standards and provides recommendations.
*Creates and provide estimates of work.
*Proactively delivers work on time with good quality.
Knowledge Skill & Abilities
*Minimum 5 years of experience in backend API's (REAST API)
*Minimum 7 years' experience in programming and minimum 2 years in python/Django.
*Ability to learn new technology and industries quickly.
*Attention to detail.
*Mentorship skills.
*Joy for learning new technologies.
*Complex problem-solving skills.
*Analytical thinking skills
Qualification:
*5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
*2+ years of specialized/industry experience.
*Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
