PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Growing General Surgery practice
• Join our existing practice with support from a team of 5 FM, 1 PA, and 4 NPs in Hayward

• Our Essentia Health clinic is attached to Hayward Area Memorial Hospital which offers 25-bed critical access care and a fully staffed 24-hour ER department
• Opportunity to collaborate with subspecialty surgeons within Essentia Health

• Outpatient and inpatient practice
• Opportunity to do outreach in Ashland, WI
• On site lab, pharmacy, and radiology
• Historically 50%-60% endoscopy related care
• Access to da Vinci Robot to support minimally invasive surgical practice
• Shared surgery call with other surgeon in community (call is compensated separately)

REQUIREMENTS

• BC/BE General Surgery
• C-section skill set required
• Looking for a strong, patient-centered, team player
• Desire someone that loves the small-town atmosphere and a commitment to work/life balance

LOCATION

Hayward - Prime lake and recreation area offering a lifestyle of hiking, mountain biking, golfing,

hunting, fishing, boating, camping, canoeing, skiing, snowmobiling, ATV, etc.

• 70 miles from Duluth, MN and 2 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN metro area
• Service area population: 8,000 in the winter months; 24,000 in the summer months
• City of Hayward population: 2,800

• Excellent compensation, bonus, and benefits package (including malpractice insurance coverage)
• Minimum 6-weeks of time off per year
