Job Title: Metrology Customer Support Specialist I
Reports To: Metrology Services Manager or Team Lead
Job Type: Non-Exempt
Travel: Up to 25%

Position Summary:

The Metrology Customer Support Specialist I plays a proactive role in supporting the Metrology Services division and providing exceptional client support. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate administrative, logistical, and customer service tasks, while upholding the core values of Honesty, Integrity, Pride, Accountability, Teamwork, and Commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete documentation and data entry in a timely manner.
  • Submit weekly timesheets accurately and on time.
  • Provide pickup and delivery services to local clients and third-party suppliers.
  • Offer administrative support related to third-party calibration, shipping, scheduling, and delivery coordination.
  • Manage logistical support for shipping and receiving client equipment.
  • Assist with vendor management tasks, including RMA procurement and purchase order creation.
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of PCI and client-owned equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, professional work area and project a professional image.
  • Always prioritize safety in adherence to PCI and client-specific policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and PCI team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail for documentation and safe work practices.
  • High level of customer service, integrity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills with clients, peers, and supervisors.
  • Reliable and organized with strong attendance, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines.

Experience & Education Required:

A two-year degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, other related field, or equivalent military training and two years of Customer Support or Quality System experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Pharmaceutical industry or quality system experience is preferred. Metrology or Life Science industry experience is preferred. Certifications in Quality Auditing and/or Metrology highly valued.
