Description

Mail, Purchasing and Transportation:

Responsible for various duties in the Mail\\Statement Processing Section including, statement rendering both manual and automated, mail processing equipment operation, and U.S. Mail processing. Responsible for preparing and delivering Requisitioned Supplies and Maintaining and inventory control of materials, equipment, and supplies; achieves goals as established Purchasing department, as well as with other divisions, units, or departments; communicates with appropriate personnel; responds to inquiries or requests for information; maintains appropriate records and provides assigned reports. Supports the Records Retention function by picking up boxed records and maintaining Records Inventories.  Provides support to Courier function as required.  

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.  Proficient reading, writing and grammar skills are required as are proficient mathematical and analytical skills.  Must have ability to comprehend data processing systems.  Proficient manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination and ability to operate specialized mail processing\\statement rendering equipment also required.  Must have ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing 75 lbs. or less.  A valid driver's license and ability to travel are required. Must be able to be trained on and safely operate mechanized box and pallet moving equipment.
