Description

Responsibilities include support, configuration, and installation of Cisco network equipment, VOIP systems, Firewalls, and IDS technologies. Daily job duties include resolving technical issues with network devices, voice systems, firewalls, and IDS systems as well as supporting remote technical staff with regional device problem resolution. Works with other team members to complete installation and upgrades of hardware and software. Positions may require non-traditional working hours to support projects. Participates in an off hours on-call rotation as assigned by management. Maintains and develops procedures to support departmental processes Provides cross-training for co-workers as needed. Provides 7x24 support as needed. Participates on project teams as assigned including the development and management of project components.  Good Communication skills, able to work in team environment and independently to support infrastructure and projects.  Monitor network infrastructure performance, Respond to incidents and troubleshoot network related issues in timely manner.  Participates in an off hours on-call rotation as assigned by management along with some non-traditional working hours to support projects and 24/7 support as needed.  Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Products, LAN/WAN networks, routing protocols, switching, DNS, DHCP, Cisco VoIP, firewall/IDS, VPN technologies preferred.  Position requires High School diploma or equivalent required.  **Note: Telecommuting Eligible--Within 1 hour commute to Indiana, PA or Pittsburgh, PA

Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications

1. Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of IT experience preferred; experience in banking industry is a plus.

2. Experience with Microsoft Office products, network technologies, and Cisco VOIP technologies is required; Experience with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, firewall, IDS, and security hardware are preferred

3. High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field preferred.


4. Telecommute position with some travel as necessary for hardware support, training, participation in user conferences, special projects, business resumption, etc. as needed.
