21.88 hourly - based on your experience and qualifications (this is not flat-rate pay)

As a First Student Technician, you'll perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on our newer-model fleet. You'll use your diagnostic skills and technical knowledge to keep our buses running smoothly and safely. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting inspections and repairs on brakes, suspensions, transmissions, and drivetrains
Completing detailed work orders and documentation
Supporting on-road vehicles through mobile emergency services
Note: This position is classified as safety-sensitive under DOT regulations and is subject to drug testing, including for marijuana.

You have 1–3 years of hands-on experience with diesel, automotive, CNG, or electric vehicles
You have a valid driver's license—and are open to earning a CDL (we'll provide the training!)
You own a personal set of mechanic tools
