Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Automation Project Manager located in Flex Timisoara.

Reporting to the Automation Lead, the Automation Project Manager's role involves all aspects of our automation projects, from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Oversee all stages of automation projects, from planning and design to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Define, develop, and deploy automation solutions. Design equipment layouts and workspaces for optimal efficiency and safety.
  • Prepare specifications for automation suppliers and evaluate their solutions to determine the best balance of technical proficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness.
  • Manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets; oversee project risks and issues.
  • Provide stakeholders with regular project updates, including progress reports, budget forecasts, and risk assessments.
  • Guide suppliers through design reviews of equipment.
  • Manage automation suppliers through all project phases.
  • Draft qualification protocols and support equipment qualification activities.
  • Supervise the installation and testing of equipment to ensure requirements and specifications are met.
  • Ensure all projects comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully integrate automation solutions into existing processes.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Solid technical background, with min 5yrs exp in Manufacturing process or/and automation development.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • The ability to read and analyze technical drawings, electrical diagram and other technical specifications.
  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
