Reporting to the General Manager & VP Operations the Engineering Director will be part of our Romanian team, located in Timisoara.

The Engineering Director takes corporate-level strategies and operates as a future value creator, looking continually for ways to create value for the Engineering Technology and Innovation Center, Engineering Spare Parts Center, Engineering Precision Tools Center, Engineering Diagnostic and Performance Center, and to create a competitive advantage for the customers and stakeholders.

This strategic role involves driving new technology innovation and bringing fresh ideas to the table, by challenging the status quo and bringing innovative solutions to our organization.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

• Drive engineering strategies to meet customer requirements and recommend Flex capabilities in manufacturing and engineering services;
• Develop and implement the engineering department's strategy, with a strong emphasis on innovation and new technology;
• Led the engineering department to achieve organizational KPIs and ensure compliance with corporate procedures, policies, and practices in the engineering and technology field;
• Continuously improve and optimize manufacturing processes, addressing technical and organizational issues;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and auditors.

The Experience We're Looking to Add to Our Team:

• Excellent communication skills, and ability to foster a problem-solving culture paired with fluent English;
• Ablilty to create transformational solutions, formulate strategies and execution plans;
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, etc);
• Relevant expertise in strategic leadership roles, and an entrepreneurship mindset;
• A deep-rooted knowledge of manufacturing processes, technology, industrialization, and automation;
• Leadership and coordination skills for complex technical teams;
• Ability to generate organizational development plans and adapt to new environments;

• Open-minded, extrovert, outgoing, and dynamic personality;
• Strategic & customer leadership skills.
