Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Industrial Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, North Site.
The Industrial Engineering Manager role involves responsible for managing a team of industrial engineers working on increasing productivity through the management of workers, methods of business organization, and technology to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently.
What a typical day looks like:
- Development of work plans for civil works (timelines), electrical installations, and hydraulic installations.
- Development of work plans for civil works, electrical installations, and hydraulic installations.
- Development of capacity analysis based on an understanding of the entire PCBA manufacturing and assembly process.
- Line installation and release.
- Manages a team of engineers and technicians to establish work measurement programs and evaluates work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.
- Evaluates staff utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to define efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
- Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocation work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
- May develop management systems for cost reviews, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation
- Develops management control systems to aid financial planning and cost reviews, and design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality.
- Design or improve systems for the physical distribution of goods and services, as well as defining the most efficient plant locations.
- Organizes details into a broad view of the total operations and organization of Flex.
- Partners with other engineering team members to design manufacturable new products
- Manages initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
- Implements appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, electronics engineering, mechatronics or related
- Strong experience in a similar position in the electronics manufacturing industry
- Experience managing and developing work plans for civil works (timelines), electrical installations, and hydraulic installations.
- Managing and developing work plans for civil works, electrical installations, and hydraulic installations.
- Reflecting projects on timelines and Gantt charts for timely activity tracking.
- Developing capacity analyses based on an understanding of the entire PCBA manufacturing and assembly process.
- Installing and releasing lines until calculated rates are met, including both input and output processes.
- Experience identifying bottlenecks and working with labor efficiency.
- Advanced English.
