Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Jr Quality Engineer located in Aguascalientes.

Reporting to the Quality Manager the Jr Quality Engineer is responsible for maintaining quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Develop and implement standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of products and processes.
  • Create sampling procedures, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Develop and implement methods for the disposition of non-conforming materials and support cost assessment activities.
  • Guide personnel engaged in measuring, testing, and documenting product, material, or process quality.
  • Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions related to quality control and compliance.
  • Support Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interactions on quality-related issues.
  • Ensure availability, accuracy, and integrity of all quality-related data; consolidate and report quality metrics.
  • Initiate and track corrective actions to satisfactory closure.
  • Assist in the development and execution of internal and external quality audits.
  • Develop, apply, revise, and maintain quality standards for materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
  • Design and implement procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation of product and equipment accuracy.
  • Investigate reports and returned products, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establish programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production and test equipment.
  • Approve product, process, and equipment qualifications.
  • Interface with regulatory bodies as needed to ensure compliance.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Junior-level experience in quality, process, manufacturing, or a related area.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and basic leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
