To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Junior Embedded Software Tester located in Woerden, Netherlands.

As an Junior Embedded Software Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our actuator products. You will develop and execute advanced test strategies, automate test systems, and collaborate closely with development teams to deliver best-in-class solutions. Your expertise will help us achieve the highest standards in software and hardware testing for innovative actuator technologies.

What a Typical Day Looks Like
  • Test newly developed software against set requirements and analyze results.
  • Develop new test strategies, increase test coverage, and automate test systems
  • Maintain and upgrade test environments.
  • Evaluate test criteria, quantify severity of failures, and define logical additional test requirements to enhance product quality.
  • Develop systems to store results data, document results and analyses, and explain failure circumstances.
  • Liaise closely with the development team to improve products and provide input for future development.
  • Use know-how on testing, product quality, and context of use to develop additional tests and criteria.
  • Support field/factory issues for root cause analysis of the existing product portfolio.
  • Engage in versatile testing and coordinate test activities with remotely located testers.
The Experience We're Looking to Add to the Team
  • BEng or BSc degree, typically with 2+ years of related experience.
  • Software: Knowledge of Python, basic understanding of C and C++, LABVIEW or similar;
  • Hardware: Ability to build test environments (including HIL), basic understanding of electronic components/designs, and ability to use measurement equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, function generator, etc.).
  • Familiarity with V-model based development processes and Scrum.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch
  • Experience with ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cyber Security is a strong plus.
