Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams, which build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Planner Scheduler located at the Tijuana Campus.
Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, the Planner Scheduler is responsible for helping materials and production functions. Plans, schedules, coordinates, and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.
What a typical day looks like:
- Checking the possibility of the order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipment's etc.), and confirmation of the order.
- Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, and notification of the purchasing group.
- Monitoring, control of implementation of plans, and starting necessary actions in case of deviations
- Preparation of long-term plans, forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
- Monitoring of system accuracy on a daily/weekly basis/General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data /non-consumed demand, planned WOs.
- Preparing Clean to build reports, checking the material availability, replanning if necessary, informing of order desk, and ECO implementation tracing.
- Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences.
- Preparing management and CFT-specific reports, monitoring of KPI's.
- Giving assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
- Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.
- Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs.
- May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
- Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
- Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
- May also help inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS in engineering or a related field.
- Jr or mid experience in a similar position.
- Fluent English.
- Excel proficient.
- Strong MRP Knowledge.
- Knowledge of some ERP (Baan, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong Experience in efficient control.
- Planning production and materials management.
