Job Description

The AutoSAR Software Engineer will be based in Shanghai. Flex's Automotive team is seeking an experienced candidate who will undertake AutoSAR development & integration work for diverse kinds of complex automotive ECUs, including Autonomous Driving Computer, Zone Domain Controller & other complex ECUs. You will perform working on the full cycle of product development required to bring the product successfully to market.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do

  • Lead AutoSAR related SW project requirement analysis, architecture design, development, test & needed documentation
  • Focus on underlying software (BSW) & complex drivers development & test, integrate with the application layer software, generate code, and cooperate with the hardware engineer to complete the test
  • Follow ASPICE & Functional Safety SW development model, and be responsible for software concept design, detail design, coding and unit design
  • Lead the AutoSAR training and ramp-up program to build a bigger and better AutoSAR software development force
  • Align AutoSAR related development strategy with global SW teams, leverage capability & experience of different regions

Here is some of what you'll need (required)

  • Full-time bachelor degree or above, major in Computer Science, Electronics, Automation or similar disciplines
  • 5 years of working experience in Automotive SW, with more than 3 years of successful experience in AutoSAR software development and testing
  • Expertise in Auto SW development process, good command of C/C++ language, good logical thinking and good ability of HW related debugging
  • Expertise in MCU based MCAL, BSW, complex driver development and related development tools
  • Familiar with SW functional safety (ISO26262), ASPICE process & documentation, has hands on experience in multiple projects compliant to both of them
  • Familiar with on-board ECU communication (CAN/LIN/Ethernet), diagnosis (UDS/OBD) protocol and implementation method; Familiar with body bus (AN, UART, SPI, LIN, I2C, Ethnet etc.), iso14229/15765 communication protocol
  • Proficient in the interactive design and verification of the current mainstream AUTOSAR development tool chain and application layer software (able to configure Port and Runnable of upper SWC), familiar with the relevant experience of establishing and implementing AUTOSAR project, and able to complete the code of the lower level, communication, operating system, bootloader and other requirements of AUTOSAR standard
  • Strong practical ability and work initiative, good communication and coordination skills and team spirit
  • Good speaking & written English

Here are a few of our preferred experiences

  • Experience with complex platform AutoSAR SW development is preferred, e.g. Infineon TC2xx, TC3xx & NXP S32x platforms
  • Familiar with ARM RISC architecture CPU, MMU, Cache, DDR, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, Clock, PHY, PLL and other familiar ECU software architecture and related standards of AutoSAR
  • Experience of Adaptive AutoSAR is preferred
  • Experience in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow/embedded encoder (autosar-based development) is preferred
