Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer located in Shenzhen.

Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Manager, the Senior Mechanical Engineer role involves…

What a typical day looks like:

• Be responsible for the overall mechanical design, analysis, documentation and functional validation for BBU and shelf products
• Innovative mechanical improvement and VAVE for developed products
• Collaborate with internal and external teams (i.e. cross-function team, manufacturing, quality, suppliers ,etc.) to ensure the successful development and launch of new products
• Support product pre-research, spec clarification and cost analysis
• Contribute to the development of mechanical tooling and production part qualification.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in lithium battery pack product or UPS product design
• Strong CAD & pro-E/Creo skill
• Experience resolving tolerance stack-up and interference issues on 3D models.
• Awareness of manufacturing processes including injection molding, metals fabrication and secondary finishing process
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and creative, analytical and detail orientated work ethic.
