To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Staff Design Engineer located in Shenzhen.

Our ideal candidate should be an experienced engineer who can handle the development of digital control high-power switching power supplies, for both software and hardware design. The candidate must have a solid foundation in power electronics technology and strong hands-on ability, familiar with power electronics circuits, basic control theory, and power semiconductor device characteristics, as well as experience in high-power power supply design and hardware development. On the other hand, it is necessary to be proficient in C and able to independently undertake machine specific assembly and C language mixed programming, familiar with embedded development processes, understand the key functions of compilers, linkers, and their outputs. Proficient in real-time system development, able to develop highly modular and efficient multi-threaded code based on the requirements of switch mode power supplies with compact timing. At the same time, it can correspond to the control algorithms used in the power supply to complete the work of export, modeling, development, and analysis.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead the development of high-power system design from scheme to prototype,
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the prototype meets the target specifications and delivery requirements,
  • Responsible for hardware and software related system scheme design, detailed scheme design, schematic design, and component selection
  • Modeling and analyzing algorithms for power control and management
  • Provide design and testing support during the power development and testing phases
  • Develop embedded firmware for switch mode power supplies using C and assembly on commonly used MCU and DSC platforms,
  • Responsible for product debugging and testing, outputting delivery materials related to design, development, and production,
  • • Support the resolution of technical issues encountered by the product development team during the subsequent development process of the design solution.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • 8+ years of experience in developing firmware for high-power power supplies for BS degree, 4 years design experience for Master degree, design experience during PhD for PhD degree,
  • Proactive and efficient
  • Possess knowledge of embedded programming based on DSC and MCU
  • Understand commonly used MCU architectures such as 8051, PIC, C2000, etc
  • Knowledge of commonly used MCU interfaces (ADC, SPI, SMB, UART, etc.)
  • Proficient in C programming language
  • Proficient in using C++, Visual Basic, or Java for PC application development
  • Have knowledge in power topology, control, and design
  • Have knowledge in real-time embedded system design

  • 熟练掌握MatchCAD, SIMetrix, PADs等仿真及设计软件
  • 具备基于DSC和MCU的嵌入式编程知识
  • 理解常用的MCU架构,如C2000等
  • 具备常用MCU接口(ADC, SPI, SMB, UART, 等)的知识
  • 精通C语言编程
  • 能熟练使用C++, Visual Basic, or Java进行PC应用开发
  • 具备实时嵌入式系统设计方面的知识
  • 积极主动、善于沟通表达、团队合作性强
  • 良好的英语读写能力

优先考虑:

  • 有独立主导基于SiC或GaN器件,>10kW中大功率产品的软硬件研发的经验者优先
  • 拥有数字信号处理的各种技能
  • 具备开关电源建模与分析的技能
  • 开发相关的演示、测试或者验证软件(如简单的用户图形界面开发)
