Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to incorporate a Test Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.


Reporting to the Test Engineering Director, the Test Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of procedures, strategies, systems, components, and modifications of the Test and Diagnostic Engineering area. Acts as a leader and guide for the test engineering team in projects, tasks, and operations, ensuring standardization, the use and implementation of best practices, new technologies, and serving as a liaison with other engineering functions. Ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget.

What a typical day looks like:


• Review of basic area KPIs through the 4Q methodology and those key to the operation:

  • Compliance with the production plan
  •  Yield analysis of test equipment and NDF
  • Inventory analysis of units in Debug

• Preparation and configuration of test equipment according to the test plan.
• Design and acceptance of test devices or equipment (ESD/Strain/Coverage/GR&R Reports/Maintenance/Spare parts or Consumables).
• Area management through analysis and problem-solving detected in test equipment with a focus on minimizing variation and recurrence during production.
• Collection and analysis of test data, working closely with RD and/or customer to resolve technical issues that contribute to equipment stability and NDF reduction.
• Preparation and submission to the customer of reports related to DFT, CPK, PFMEA, 4Q, Failure Analysis, Downtime, etc.
• Support in international transfers of new projects.
• Quotation of new projects and evaluation of test equipment.
• Training of technicians and test station operators.
• Inventory control of equipment (Flex and Consigned) and area budget management.

Experience we're looking to add to our team:


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced English.
• Experience in functional testing processes of high-power products or infrastructure equipment.
• Handling of inspection and structural testing equipment.
• Management of New Products (NPIs) until their release to Mass Production (MP).
• Leadership, proactivity, responsibility, strong teamwork sense, good communication, and work safety concept.
