Position Summary:  

Fox Factory/Shock Therapy is seeking a Controller to join their dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. The Controller will support top executives and will be responsible for providing oversight for all financial and accounting activities for 4 divisions. of the company. The Controller, working with other management, will have ownership of achieving the facility's performance metrics including expense management and job profitability. This opportunity offers great work-life balance in a relaxed office culture.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Champion data-driven decision making in the company 
  • Closely monitor companies financial health, performance and provide recommendations and take actions to improve increase company profitability
  • Works effectively with a wide array of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management
  • Oversees preparation of financial statements and analysis, budgets and forecasts, and variance analysis of actual performance results.
  • Maintains fiscal responsibility and ensures the establishment and administration of adequate internal controls within the organization.
  • Helps drive profitable decision making and maximizing return on assets by preparing and analyzing financial data along with operational metrics.
  • Presents analysis findings to various leaders in the business.
  • Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and developing employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results. 

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • General understanding of internal Controls and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Work independently with little or no oversight
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office and accounting software
  • Strong analytical/critical thinking

Position Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

CPA or CMA preferred

Experience: 

3+ years of experience, preferably at a manufacturing company

Supervisory experience, preferred

QuickBooks experience preferred

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Office Environment

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
