Position Summary:

Responsible for all forecasting/inventory planning activities associated with supporting Fox global service centers. Creates and maintains forecasts incorporating information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, service and other business intelligence. Responsible for reporting and analysis to support the min max levels set within each service center as well as ensuring on time distribution of the items from Taiwan to support the customer needs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an 18-24 month rolling forecast in Taiwan, that supports the global consumption of service parts.

    • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. 

    • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with multiple departments to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used to understand demand forecast drivers resulting in a demand forecast.

    • Monitor business unit promotions, events and market conditions to ensure accurate demand plans.

    • Report on key assumptions and market shifts based on trends and demand patterns as required.

  • Assess the impact of market/customer changes or significant consumption variances in the demand plan and recommend appropriate revision and tactics.

    • Review and adjust Demand to Forecast deviations in identifying risks and opportunities and challenge discrepancies.

  • Develop, monitor, and review reports regarding forecast accuracy to business units and supply chain organization. 

  • Coordinate and maintain the Min Max planning process globally for FOX SSG inventory organizations for service parts 

    • Provide seamless delivery of parts to sales channels and service centers while adhering to the approved inventory level

    • Assess the impact of market/customer changes or significant consumption variances in the demand plan and make appropriate revision and tactics.

  • Develop dashboards for key metrics to report on inventory valuations in line with current organization goals and expectations.

  • Maintain Demantra and Attributes for all service items

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on product End of Life management to develop process and procedures to support product once it moves out of production.

    • Provide the Supply Planning organization a plan for every part once it becomes out of line. 

  • Work with Service Managers to develop regional level plans to identify gaps and implement timely solutions to improve operational efficiency. Drive consistency across all business units globally.

  • Create and maintain the Tier 1 and 2 list at the global level and work with Service managers to ensure regional fluctuations are accounted for.

  • Develop Warranty inventory plans at the product family level to ensure timely responses at each site to support the technical customer service teams.

  • Support the ERP implementation team when new sites are added to Oracle.        

    • SME in system and data setup as well as new user training to maintain consistency across the Fox Organization

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Proficient in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their impacts.

  • Experience with determining, maintaining and systematically managing Min Max planning

  • Advanced Excel skills; Good working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Applications

  • Requires strong analytical, organizational, time management, decision making, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

  • Detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking

  • Capable of collaborating with multiple time zones (North America, EU, UK, AUS)

Position Qualifications:

Education:

  • BA/BS college degree or its equivalent.

  • IBF or APICS Certification preferred.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt - preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a planner role; bike experience required.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years Oracle EBS, ASCP and Demantra required.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience with Min Max Planning required

  • Experience with Qlik View and Power BI software/tools
