Duties:

• Perform mammography exams on patients using specialized imaging equipment
• Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during the procedure
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety
• Review images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist
• Proficient in performing mammography exams, including positioning techniques and image acquisition
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to mammography
• Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT, ER, PET scan, X-Ray, or Sonography is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review and analyze images
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control procedures
