We are seeking a Branch Manager to join our Gexpro team in Davenport, IA!

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, motivation, direction, and training to branch team to serve customers profitably.
  • Meet or exceed total sales, net income, and asset management targets.
  • Responsible for branch operations and growth.
  • Knowledgeable and current about markets served, customers, vendors, and competitors.
  • Deal effectively with daily customer service issues. Establish and maintain a relationship with key customers.
  • Lead branch staff, enforcing all company policies and standards.
  • Greet and assist walk-in and call-in customers with the selection and delivery of products and services.
  • Recognize personnel problems and take corrective actions in adherence to company policy
  • Participate in inventory control with oversight of receiving, stocking, and filling of customer orders
     

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage P&L operation.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the wholesale electrical distribution industry.
  • Demonstrated sales and operations experience in electrical distribution.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills & ability to share information.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of leadership or related experience is preferred

Ability to write and read routine reports or job orders. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees within the organization.   

 

Math Ability:

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.

  • Repetitively climbing: 3-6 hours
  • Continuous repetitive kneeling: 3-6 hours

Exposure to hot and cold temperatures. This position constantly requires expose to extreme weather conditions in a warehouse environment at company branches.
