You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ZAGCARD and the Print & Mail Services departments within the Auxiliary Enterprise organization. The budgeted annual salary that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position is $78,132 annually. The full internal range is $69,207-93,633 annually.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the issuance and maintenance of ZAGCARDs for students, staff, faculty, and affiliates.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to integrate ZAGCARD technology for programs such as meal plans, printers, and Bulldog Bucks (BDB) program.
  • Manage and collaborate with off-campus vendors regarding participation in the BDB program to include Business Agreements, equipment rental, and commission reconciliation.
  • Manage the print center's daily operations, including production, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
  • Monitor print quality, accuracy, and timelines to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail processes, including sorting, distribution, and delivery to appropriate recipients or departments.
  • Ensure compliance with postal regulations and maintain accurate records of mail and package transactions.
  • Research and recommend enhancements in technology and services to stay up to date with industry trends in each area.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of personnel for each area.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment, encouraging professional and personal development.
  • Develop a succession plan for each area to identify future leaders within the team.
  • Establish and maintain high-quality customer service standards across all departments.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve service offerings based on customer input and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and data privacy requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports and metrics on service usage, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to address any compliance or security related issues.


Other Functions

  • Assist with all areas of Auxiliary Enterprises during peak periods and with special workload projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • At least five (5) years of related work experience. Nine (9) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of education requirement.
  • Two (2) years Higher-Ed experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong people skills: ability to relate and work well with others.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed for various functions and events.


Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
  • Prior experience with card services and print-mail operations.


Physical Demands

  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Wrist and hand movement related to computer work.
  • Pick up, carry and move items up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to prep for and attend meetings and events across campus in various weather conditions.
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, stretch and reach.
