Guthrie Lourdes is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to assist in diabetes management and general endocrine care of our patients in the outpatient practice setting of Guthrie Binghamton Riverside Drive-Endocrinology.

As a Guthrie Nurse Practitioner, you play an important role in caring for our patients while acting as a patient advocate and collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers, as well as Guthrie Specialists throughout the strong referral Network.

Highlights of the Position

  • Responsibilities
    • Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients throughout the continuum of care. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments of patients with various endocrine disorders including diabetes and thyroid conditions.
    • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, considering patients' unique needs and preferences.
    • Performing regular follow-ups to assess treatment effectiveness and adjusting plans as needed.
    • Educating patients on diabetes self-management, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of adhering to prescribed treatment plans.
    • Providing clear and concise information on endocrine conditions, and ensuring patients have a thorough understanding of their health and treatment options.
    • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
    • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits
    • Competitive Salary range of $115,000-$126,000 depending on experience.

  • Qualifications
    • Current license in New York State.
    • Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
    • Experienced or newly graduated candidates are equally welcome to apply.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
