Nurse Practitioner Needed for State-of-the-Art Cath Lab at Level I Trauma Center
Highlights of the Position
- Inpatient-only position
- Participate in the management of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for cardiology patients.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and coordinated care.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic test interpretation to assist in formulating accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding, postoperative care, and lifestyle modifications to promote optimal recovery and long-term health.
- Provide support and guidance to nursing staff, medical students, and residents in the care of cardiology patients.
- Cross cover inpatient cardiology services and EP lab Advanced Practitioners as needed
