The Division of Organ Transplantation at Hackensack University Medical Center is seeking a Transplant Nephrologist physician to join their transplant team. You will be joining an expanding renal transplant program with a reputation of providing excellent and compassionate clinical care. This role will involve clinical activity and academic teaching and training tailored to the interest and skills of the physician as well as the needs of the Division.
This physician shall provide nephrology evaluation services and medical care to patients with chronic kidney disease who are pre and post kidney transplantation as well as living kidney donors.
The successful candidate will:
- Participate in quality and selection committees
- Act as a key member of the multidisciplinary transplant team
- Collaborate with other physicians, administrators, coordinators, social workers, and support staff
- Participate in the development of educational content and provide teaching to fellows, residents, nurses, students and other personnel involved in the care and treatment of transplant patients
- Participate in and act as a resource in outreach activities to community physicians, dialysis centers and other venues.
Requirements include:
- MD or DO
- BC in Internal Medicine, and BC/BE in Nephrology and Renal Transplant
- Academic accomplishments that would merit appointment in the School of Medicine
- Excellent clinical and teaching skills
